Priyanshu Bajaj

Priyanshu Bajaj is a Doctoral Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Sustainable Materials, affiliated with the Department of Microstructure Physics and Alloy Design. He is part of the Alloys for Additive Manufacturing Group. Previously, he held roles including Value Stream Manager at Kalyani Forge Limited and Graduate Engineer Trainee at JK Files (India) Limited.

• Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering, Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur, India (2009-2013)
• Master of Metallurgy (M.Met) in Advanced Metallurgy, University of Sheffield, UK (2015-2016), passed with distinction

Research Focus: His work centers on Alloys for Additive Manufacturing and the Materials Science of Additive Manufacturing. Key areas include microstructure optimization, alloy design for 3D printing, and sustainable materials development. His research aims to enhance mechanical properties and production efficiency in advanced manufacturing technologies.
