معرفی
Dr. Eric Jägle is a Researcher and Group Leader of the 'Alloys for Additive Manufacturing' group at the Max-Planck-Institut für Eisenforschung GmbH in Düsseldorf. His work focuses on alloy design, additive manufacturing processes, and advanced materials characterization using techniques like atom probe tomography (APT) and mesoscopic simulations.
- Affiliation: Max-Planck-Institut für Eisenforschung GmbH
- Department: Microstructure Physics and Alloy Design
Research interests include deformation-induced mixing, phase transformation thermodynamics, and the optimization of materials for additive manufacturing applications. His career includes a distinguished PhD from the Max Planck Institute for Metall Research (2007-2011), followed by postdoctoral research in atom probe tomography before leading his own group since 2015. Funding support includes the MPG-FhG collaboration project 'AProLAM'.
Notable achievements include scholarships from the German National Academic Foundation and Ulderup Foundation during his academic training. His lab specializes in advancing materials science through interdisciplinary approaches, bridging experimental techniques and computational modeling.
