Priscilla E. Pemu

Priscilla E. Pemu serves as Professor of Clinical Medicine, Vice-Chair for Research in the Department of Medicine, Associate Dean for Clinical Research, and Director of the Clinical Research Center at Morehouse School of Medicine. She actively contributes to the National Research Mentoring Network (NRMN) Community Physicians Network and leads major studies including All of Us, ASPREE-XT, CTQJ230A12303, EXPANSION, and RECOVER Sleep.

Her research centers on improving long-term health outcomes for patients with chronic illnesses like cancer and diabetes through NIH and American Heart Association-funded clinical investigations. Drawing from direct patient care experiences, she specializes in chronic disease management while addressing health disparities through initiatives like the Health Disparities Learning Collaboratory. As a physician-scientist, she integrates clinical practice with research to develop evidence-based interventions for complex medical conditions.

Dr. Pemu demonstrates extensive expertise in mentoring diverse researchers across disciplines, particularly through her role as Co-Leader and Co-Investigator in the SETH initiative where she evaluates peer mentorship tools using social network analysis.
