Prince Nwaubani is a Clinical Lecturer at King's College London (KCL), appointed via the NIHR Academic Clinical Lectureship in Translational Therapeutics. He works across the Centre for Affective Disorders and Centre for Neuroimaging Sciences, focusing on neuroimaging biomarkers for neuroinflammatory conditions and affective disorders. His expertise spans clinical neuroimaging, psychiatric research, and translational therapeutics.
Education includes a PhD from Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS) on structural neuroimaging in multiple sclerosis, complemented by advanced certifications in Biotechnology (Teesside University), Genomic Medicine (University of Birmingham), Dementia Studies (BSMS), and Research Methods in Health (Keele University).
Research interests center on developing neuroimaging tools to monitor treatment efficacy in neuroinflammatory diseases, psychotherapeutic interventions for chronic autoimmune conditions, and AI-driven voice biomarkers for bipolar disorder. He has received prestigious fellowships including the NIHR/ZINC Industry Placement award and Harvard's Global Clinical Scholars Program.
Teaching includes MSc Affective Disorders modules and student supervision at KCL. His professional memberships include the Royal College of Psychiatrists and Royal Society of Biology.
