Dr Prince Anandarajah is a Lecturer at the School of Electronic Engineering, Dublin City University (DCU). He serves as a Principal Investigator for Science Foundation Ireland and Enterprise Ireland, and directs the Photonics Systems and Sensing Laboratory (PSSL). Additionally, he is a co-founder and director of the spin-off company Pilot Photonics.
- BEng in Electronic Engineering from University of Nigeria, Nsukka (1992)
- MEng from DCU (1998)
- PhD in Radio and Optical Communications from DCU (2003)
His research focuses on elastic optical networks, photonic sensing, spectrally efficient modulation formats, and radio-over-fibre distribution systems. These areas reflect cutting-edge advancements in optical communication and sensing technologies.
Dr Anandarajah has published over 240 peer-reviewed articles and holds 6 international patents, two of which are licenced by industry. His work bridges academic innovation and commercial application through Pilot Photonics.
