Prerana Agrawal

Prerana Agrawal is a Lecturer in Accounting at the UWA Business School, specializing in auditing and accounting education. She holds a PhD from The University of Western Australia (2018) and has over 20 years of teaching experience across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including units in Auditing, Taxation, and Corporate Accounting. Her research focuses on auditor judgment, professional skepticism development in students, sustainability reporting, and ethics in accounting. Agrawal has been awarded the UWA Business School Excellence in Teaching Award (2009) and the Early Career Researcher Award (2021). She actively contributes to professional standards through grants like the IAAER-KPMG Research Grant (2023) and the AFAANZ Professional Scepticism Toolkit project (2021).

Her academic journey includes a Master of Accounting from UWA (2010) and prior roles such as Sessional Tutor at Curtin Business School and Research Assistant at UWA.
