Prema Nakra

Prema Nakra is a full-time Professor in the School of Management at Marist College. Her office is located in Dyson Hall (Room 2067), and she can be reached via phone at (845) 575-3000 ext. 2866. She holds a PhD in Economics from Vikram University, an MBA in Marketing from Pace University, and an MA in Economics from Christian College/Vikram University.

Research Focus: Dr. Nakra specializes in knowledge management systems and ethical frameworks within global commerce. Her core investigations include:

• Organizational reputation capital and valuation methodologies
• Knowledge asset development and strategic deployment
• Transnational marketing ethics, particularly examining gray market operations
• Counter-terrorism strategies in information systems (infoterrorism)
• Non-tariff trade barrier analysis

She is also a certified Tango Facilitator for knowledge management simulations developed by Celami International.
