Preeya Pandya Mbekeani

Preeya Pandya Mbekeani was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Brown University's Annenberg Institute, working on the Educational Opportunity in Massachusetts project. She studies postsecondary access and completion disparities for low-income and minoritized students, with expertise in quantitative policy analysis. She holds a doctorate from Harvard University, a master's from Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a bachelor's from the University of Chicago.

Prior to academia, she worked at the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and as a high school teacher and college access counselor.
