Pramen P. Shrestha

Pramen P. Shrestha is a Professor and Department Chair in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Construction at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, affiliated with the Howard R. Hughes College of Engineering. He holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and is a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Texas.

His research focuses on Project Delivery Methods, Infrastructure Sustainability, Construction Safety, and Asset Management. His work spans Highway Projects, Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), Life-Cycle Cost Analysis, and Workforce Inclusivity in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.

Recent publications analyze construction project performance across Design-Build, CM-at-Risk, and PPPs, with emphasis on cost overruns, schedule delays, and technological solutions for hazard recognition. His studies also address geotechnical challenges in bridge construction and diversity in AEC education.
