Pouya Ahmadi

Pouya Ahmadi is an Associate Professor of Graphic Design at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). He holds an MA and MAS from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW), and an MDes from the University of Illinois at Chicago. His practice focuses on typography and design's intersection with language, modernity, and cultural identity in SWANA (Southwest Asia and North Africa) contexts.
