Poulomee Datta is a Senior Lecturer in Inclusive Education at Macquarie University, Sydney. She has held leadership roles, including Director of Primary Teacher Education at Macquarie University (2021-22) and National Course Coordinator for ACU’s Master of Education programs (2015-16). Her research focuses on improving educational outcomes for students with disabilities, with funded projects from ACARA, Brisbane Catholic Education, and ASEPA. Notable achievements include a sole-authored Springer book, 30+ peer-reviewed articles, and supervising seven postgraduate students.
Research Interests
Her work spans Special/Inclusive Education, Disability Studies, Educational Psychology, and Behaviour Management. Recent studies explore autistic parents’ school interactions, cultural barriers in parent-teacher partnerships, and self-concept among visually impaired students.
