Portia Hylton

Portia Hylton is an Assistant Lecturer in Accounting at Coventry University. She holds a BA (Hons) in Accountancy from Coventry University and is currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Accounting and Financial Management. She is also a qualified accountant with the ACCA.

• Research Interests: Corporate failure and accountability, financial reporting disclosures, external auditing, corporate governance, and accounting education.
• Teaching Areas: Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, Accounting for Business, and Academic and Professional Skills.
• Responsibilities: Academic Personal Tutor, Open Days coordination, and Supporting Tutor for Accounting and Finance in International Business Student Sessions.
