Dr. Polly Hodge is an Associate Professor at Chapman University, serving as Director of the Spanish Major Program within the Wilkinson College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences. She has been teaching Spanish Literature and Language since 1997 and advises Chapman's chapter of Sigma Delta Pi, the National Hispanic Honor Society.

Her research focuses on contemporary Spanish playwrights, Hispanic cinema, and historical memory, with particular interest in intersections between theater and photography, literary intertextuality, and gender representation. She has edited multiple volumes on José Moreno Arenas' works and contributed critical essays to major journals.
