Po Wen Cheng

Prof. Dr. Po Wen Cheng is a Professor and Head of the Stuttgart Chair of Wind Energy (SWE) at the Institute of Aircraft Design, University of Stuttgart. His research focuses on wind energy systems, including floating offshore wind turbines, lidar applications in wind farm control, and structural dynamics of renewable energy systems. He leads interdisciplinary projects addressing challenges in mooring systems, aeroelastic analysis, and noise mitigation.
