Anne Piéjus is a CNRS Researcher specializing in Early Modern Music, with a focus on interdisciplinary approaches integrating literature, theater, history, and digital humanities. She leads the Mercure galant program, producing enriched editions of music, text, and images while advancing digital methodologies in musicology. Her research includes studies on Italian Renaissance music, French Baroque theater, and music's role in education and devotion.

- 1st Class Research Director at CNRS-IReMus (2021–present)
- Formerly at the Paris Philharmony (2001–2002) and University of Fribourg (2001–2002)
- Fellowships: Villa Medici (Rome, 1998–2000), Thiers Foundation (1995–1998)
Research Interests: Music in early modern press, theater, and education; sacred music in Renaissance Rome; digital humanities; music and politics; interdisciplinary performance studies.
