Pippa Leslie is an academic staff member at the University of Cumbria's Cumbria School of Medicine. She holds a PhD and multiple qualifications including MA Education, BA Hons, PGCE, PgCertT&LHE, and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA). Her research focuses on Mindset Theory, self-regulation in learning, and assessment methodologies. She has contributed to publications such as Learning Conversations Teacher Toolkit (2015) and a chapter in Professional studies in primary education (2022).
Her work emphasizes practitioner inquiry in early years education and the integration of Philosophy for Children (P4C) into pedagogical practices. Leslie serves as an external validation panel member for Teeside University's School of Social Sciences, Humanities and Law, evaluating their MA Trauma Informed Practice programs.
