Pip Wheaton serves as a Visiting Fellow at the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship within the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford. In this role, she actively contributes to the center's mission of advancing social entrepreneurship. Currently, she leads the European team for selecting Ashoka Fellows and co-leads Ashoka's Planet and Climate initiative, which aims to harness collective action for climate solutions across the global Ashoka network.
Her academic background includes an Oxford MBA, which she pursued after stepping down as CEO of her youth-development organization, enke: Make Your Mark, in South Africa.

Wheaton's work is deeply rooted in addressing critical global challenges. Her primary research and practice interests encompass social entrepreneurship as a vehicle for systemic change, climate action and environmental sustainability, the reduction of social and economic inequality, and the promotion of gender equity. She is particularly vocal about the interconnected crises of climate breakdown, inequality, and gender injustice, which she identifies as the issues that ignite her passion for social innovation.

Professionally, Wheaton has a strong track record in building social ventures.
