Piotr Milczarski serves as Assistant Professor at the Department of Applied Informatics within the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics at University of Lodz, while also holding a position at Lodz University of Technology's Faculty of Technical Physics, Computer Science and Applied Mathematics since 2022. His academic career spans over two decades with continuous appointments at University of Lodz since 1995.
His research focuses on image processing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, and mobile application systems, with particular expertise in virtual and augmented reality applications. Milczarski has developed innovative approaches for implementing research findings in practical mobile systems while maintaining strong connections with industry partners in Lodz and across Poland.
Milczarski has made significant contributions to academic evaluation frameworks, notably co-authoring the third criterion description for Computer Science discipline at University of Lodz that achieved 75/100 points in national evaluation. His work demonstrates exceptional integration of research, teaching, and societal impact.

His organizational leadership includes managing postgraduate Network Technologies Academy and Cisco courses from 2011-2022.
Milczarski maintains strong industry connections through his IT company Arche (established 1999) and holds numerous professional certifications including IBM Certified System Administrator, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, and programming credentials in Java and Python.
