Piyush Dhawankar

Dr. Piyush Dhawankar is a Lecturer at the University of York's Department of Computer Science and a Visiting Lecturer at Northumbria University. He specializes in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Communication Systems, and Cyber-Physical Systems. His research focuses on autonomous vehicles, vehicular networks, and renewable energy integration. He holds a PhD from Northumbria University (2021) and certifications including CCNA/CCNP, FHEA, and CEng. Dhawankar has supervised PhD students at multiple institutions and is active in academic roles such as Admissions Tutor for Online MSc Computer Science programs and Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Representative.
