Piotr Gryszel

Piotr Gryszel is a Professor at the Department of Marketing and Tourism Management, Wrocław University of Economics – Jelenia Góra Branch. His roles include serving as Rector's Plenipotentiary for Cooperation with the Academic Coordination Centre of the Euroregion Nysa, focusing on cross-border academic collaboration and sustainable development initiatives. He has held entrepreneurial roles in tourism and optics since 2008, including mountain guide training and tourism law instruction.

His research interests center on tourism management, sustainable development, social tourism, and digital marketing strategies. He has published extensively on topics like visitor flow management in national parks, circular economy perceptions, and CRM systems in travel agencies. Teaching responsibilities span European Union tourism law, marketing ethics, pricing strategies, and market research methodologies.

Active in professional networks, he chairs the Sudetes Mountain Guides Examination Committee since 2011 and serves on the Sectoral Council for Tourism Competences (2017–2023). His work integrates academic research with practical tourism policy, emphasizing regional collaboration and innovation.
