Pilar Fernández García

Pilar Fernández García is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine and Surgery at CEU, with a permanent position since 2012 in the Radiology Department of the Castellón General University Hospital. She graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Valencia in 1993 and specialized in Radiodiagnosis during 1995–1998 via MIR (Registered Resident Internship) at Castellón General Hospital.

• University Expert in Breast Radiology (University of Barcelona, 2014)
• Master's Degree in Professional Update in Radiology (Francisco de Vitoria University, 2018–2022)
• Specialization Diploma in Pediatric Diagnostic Imaging (2022–2023)

Her research focuses on Breast Cancer and breast pathology, including vacuum-assisted biopsy techniques. She has authored 29 peer-reviewed articles and 3 book chapters, with a strong emphasis on clinical applications of radiology in oncology and pediatrics.
