Pilar Bertuzzi Rivett

Pilar Bertuzzi Rivett is a Postdoctoral Associate Member in the Faculty of History at the University of Oxford, researching Hebrew divine names in Latin Christian liturgical contexts between 750-850. Her work bridges religious history and ritual studies through interdisciplinary analysis of cultural transmission.

Her academic service includes editing Carminabase—a database of 10th-15th century Latin/vernacular medical charms—and moderating international panels on soul embodiment. Research support includes grants from the Oxford Centre for Hebrew and Jewish Studies for manuscript workshops and participation in Ben Gurion University's conversion studies program.
