Pieter Hoekstra

Prof. Pieter Hoekstra is a Professor at the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG) within the Faculty of Medical Sciences, affiliated with the Clinical Cognitive Neuropsychiatry Research Program (CCNP). His work focuses on neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD, autism, and tic disorders, with a strong emphasis on clinical research and translational outcomes.

Research Interests: Dr. Hoekstra explores the neural mechanisms underlying attention deficits, disruptive behaviors, and social cognition impairments in neurodevelopmental conditions. His work integrates EEG studies, clinical trials, and economic evaluations to inform treatment strategies.
