Pierre TRAP

Pierre TRAP is an Assistant Professor at Université de Franche-Comté (UFC) within the GEODE research unit (Géosciences Environnement Besançon), affiliated with the Chrono-environment UMR 6249 CNRS/UFC. His primary research focuses on continental crust rheology, deformation mechanisms, and fluid-rock interactions in deformed zones. He holds a position at the Campus de la Bouloie in Besançon, France, and collaborates extensively with both academic and industrial partners.

• Projects: Leads or contributes to projects such as the Jura foreland belt modeling (20% involvement with 45-8 ENERGY), Guiana Shield studies (50% with Gexplore), and deep crust fluid flow analysis (10% PHC Germaine de Stael collaboration).
• PEPR Subsoil Initiative: Co-leads tasks on 'W-Sn mineral resources' and 'Re-assessment of Sb mining potential in France'.
