Dr. Pierre Roscher is a Lecturer in Physiotherapy at the University of Southern Queensland (2023–2025) and previously held roles at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (2013–2017) and the South African Society of Physiotherapy (2013–2020). He holds a BSc(Physio) from the University of Witwatersrand (2008), an MPhty (2017), and a PhD in Clinical Medicine (Urology) from KwaZulu-Natal (2023). His expertise spans Prostate Cancer Rehabilitation, Male Sexual Dysfunction, Musculoskeletal Health, and Allied Health Education. He has over a decade of teaching experience across South Africa and Australia, focusing on rural mentoring and anatomy instruction.
His research emphasizes neglected sexual side effects post-prostate cancer treatment, including development of screening tools and psychosocial impact studies. He is affiliated with the Centre for Health Research and contributes to clinical supervision in physiotherapy programs.
