Pierre Le Gall

Pierre Le Gall is a teacher-researcher at ISARA, affiliated with the Rural Studies Laboratory. His work bridges agronomy, agroecology, and territorial development, focusing on quality labels, livestock systems, and climate adaptation.

His research emphasizes geographical indications, territorial transitions, and historical analysis of agricultural practices. Current projects include ANR Gingko (geographical indications as global knowledge commons), REACTIFFS (renewal of active ingredients in cheese sectors), and GO-PEI (innovation processes in European Partnership for Innovation systems).

Pierre teaches social science survey methods, economics of food systems, and coordinates courses on quality, CSR, and territorial transitions. His publications explore agroecological challenges in mountainous regions, dairy product industrialization, and PDO governance frameworks.
