Pierre Favrat

Pierre Favrat is an Associate Professor at the School of Engineering and Management of the Canton of Vaud, affiliated with the IICT Institute of Information and Communication Technologies. He specializes in wireless communication, IoT, and embedded systems. His work focuses on MEMS technology, electromagnetic interference localization, and Industry 4.0 applications.

He has led multiple research projects including:

• MEMS Smart IoT Sensor (2019-2020): Created industrial-grade MEMS sensors for IoT applications funded by CTI.
• Lemoptix Microprojector (2012-2013): Advanced MEMS-based laser projection systems for HUD and mobile devices with EPFL-LEG funding.
