Pierre-Edouard Collignon is an Assistant Professor in Macroeconomics at Université Laval (Québec, Canada), affiliated with CREST (Center for Research in Economics and Statistics) at École polytechnique. His research focuses on Macroeconomics, Public Finance, and Economic Theory, with a specialization in time-inconsistent fiscal policies and welfare economics.
He completed his PhD candidacy at CREST - École polytechnique, advised by Jean-Baptiste Michau, Alessandro Riboni, and Matías Núñez. His work explores how governments can design flexible fiscal policies that preserve incentives for work and savings while responding to economic shocks.
