Beatrice Cherrier is a historian of economics and tenured associate professor at École Polytechnique (CNRS & CREST), specializing in the history of applied economics since the 1970s. She teaches courses on the history of 20th-century economics, applied economics, and economists' engagement with nature. Previously, she held academic positions at the University of Cergy Pontoise and Caen. Her work explores how computational advancements, institutional hierarchies, and gender dynamics have shaped economic disciplines.
