Pierre Cluitmans is an Associate Professor in the Signal Processing Systems group at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), specializing in neuroscience and biomedical engineering. He holds an MSc (1983) and PhD (1990) from TU/e and has held academic roles including Assistant Professor (1990) and Associate Professor (1991). He founded the Center for Electrophysiology and Diagnostics (CED) in 2003 and serves as its CEO. Cluitmans is also senior scientific staff at Kempenhaeghe, focusing on epilepsy, sleep disorders, and neurocognitive disorders. He coordinates the Healthcare Systems Design PDEng program and teaches courses on electrophysiology, patient monitoring, and signal analysis. His research emphasizes seizure detection technologies, neurometric diagnostics, and model-based biofeedback.
