Pierre Champollion

Pierre Champollion is an Honorary Academy Inspector and University Professor at the University of Grenoble-Alpes. He is a leading researcher at the Education, Cultures, Policies (ECP) laboratory in Lyon2-Saint-Étienne and an associate researcher at the Espaces et Sociétés-Caen (ESO-Caen) laboratory. His work centers on the interplay between education and territoriality, particularly addressing territorial inequalities in schooling, teacher training, and cross-comparisons between rural/mountainous and urban contexts across France and Europe. He co-directs two book series with L’Harmattan, focusing on crisis anthropology and interdisciplinary educational pathways.
