Pierpaolo Spagnolo is a Lecturing Fellow in Romance Studies at Duke University's Trinity College of Arts & Sciences. He specializes in teaching Italian language courses, including Elementary Italian 1-2 and Intermediate Italian. Dr. Spagnolo holds a master's degree from the University of Oregon (2015) and additional degrees in Italian, English, and French literatures from the University of Salento (Italy) and Autonomous University of Barcelona (Spain).
His academic focus includes Romance language instruction and curriculum development. As a Language Corridor Advisor, he supports Italian studies integration at Duke.
