Pia Solt-Rindler

Pia Solt-Rindler is a researcher at the Institute of Wood Technology and Renewable Materials within the Department of Biotechnology and Life Sciences at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU). She focuses on sustainable adhesive development for wood composites, specializing in lignin valorization, biobased polymers, and formaldehyde-free binder systems.

Research Interests: Her work addresses critical aspects of adhesive technology including lignin modification, carbohydrate-derived precursors, and rheokinetic analysis of curing processes. She investigates how molecular properties affect adhesive performance and develops eco-friendly alternatives for the particleboard and plywood industries.
