Dr Phoebe Patey-Ferguson is the Programme Director for the Queer Performance MA at Rose Bruford College, specialising in the social contexts of contemporary performance. They hold a PhD from Goldsmiths, University of London, researching international theatre festivals in Britain. Their work explores queer and trans practices in nightlife and festivals, examining resistance to neoliberal capitalism through radical methodologies. As a lecturer, they focus on queer pedagogy in performance education. Phoebe co-leads The Night Club research network and chairs Duckie’s board, while collaborating with institutions like LIFT and Live Art Development Agency.
