Phoebe Hargrave

Phoebe Hargrave is a Lecturer in the Department of Public Administration and Political Science at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, within the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities. She holds an LLM in Law and Politics of International Security (2022) from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and a BA in World Politics (2020) from Leiden University College.

Her research focuses on the intersection of law and politics, particularly examining how domestic civil courts process international political claims and their impact on victims of international crimes. This includes analyzing a Dutch case involving Palestinian Dutch nationals and members of the IDF.
