Dr. Phillip Wadds is an Associate Professor in Criminology at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney. He holds a PhD in Criminology and is affiliated with the School of Law, Society & Criminology. His work bridges criminology, urban studies, public health, and alcohol/drug policy, focusing on nightlife safety, festival harm reduction, policing practices, and gendered violence prevention.
