Phillip Marshall serves as Associate Professor of Biblical Languages in the Department of Classics and Biblical Languages at Houston Christian University's School of Christian Thought. His expertise centers on Classical Biblical Hebrew and Hellenistic Greek, with additional teaching in biblical exegesis and Old Testament studies across undergraduate and graduate programs.

Service: He actively participates in university governance through HCU's Recruiting and Admissions committee. Previous academic appointments include Instructor of Old Testament Interpretation at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (2007-08) and Professor of Old Testament Studies at The Midwest Center for Theological Studies (2007-08).
