Phillip M. Ayoub serves as an Assistant Professor of Politics at Drexel University, conducting research at the intersection of international relations and comparative politics with emphasis on transnational politics, gender dynamics, norm diffusion, and social movements.

Dr. Ayoub's influential publications include the monographs "When States Come Out: Europe’s Sexual Minorities and the Politics of Visibility" (Cambridge University Press, 2016) and "LGBT Activism and the Making of Europe: A Rainbow Europe" (Palgrave, 2014, co-authored with David Paternotte).
