Philippos Costa is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Yale School of Medicine, specializing in Medical Oncology and Hematology. He completed his MD at Universidade Federal do Vale do São Francisco (2016), followed by residencies at Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (2018) and University of Miami (2022), and a fellowship at Yale (2025). His research focuses on sarcomas, particularly desmoid tumors, angiosarcomas, and GIST, with an emphasis on systemic therapies, immunotherapy strategies, and patient advocacy in developing countries.
