Philippe Eiselein is a Professor of Social Entrepreneurship and Responsible Business at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), where he coordinates research initiatives at the Center for Sustainable Entrepreneurship (CenSE) and leads European sustainability projects. He holds a doctorate in Applied Economic Sciences and focuses on business models for sustainability, collaborative strategies, and competency development. As a 'pracademic', he bridges academic and practical domains, notably coordinating Belgium Impact, a royally recognized platform for social entrepreneurship. He also serves as Representative at Large for the International Association of Business and Society (IABS), contributing to governance and communication.
His teaching spans Project Management, Social Entrepreneurship, CSR, and Business Basics across multiple institutions including Odisee, Artevelde, and HoGent. With over a decade of teaching experience and involvement in over 50 international conferences, his work emphasizes sustainable business models and cross-sector partnerships.
