Philippe Corvini

Prof. Philippe Corvini is a Professor of Environmental Biotechnology at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW), Muttenz, Switzerland, leading the Environmental Biotechnology team at the Institute for Ecopreneurship. He is also an adjunct professor at multiple institutions globally, including Nanjing University (China) and Yancheng Institute of Environmental Technology and Engineering (China), and holds a Dr. Honoris Causa from the Technical University of Iasi (Romania). His roles include teaching and research in environmental biotechnology, ecotoxicology, and cleaner production technologies.

Research focuses on bioremediation, nanobiocatalysts, environmental chemistry, and sustainable engineering. He has supervised over 16 PhD and 20+ Master’s theses.
