Philippe Bouyer is a Full Professor and University Researcher at Eindhoven University of Technology, affiliated with the Center for Quantum Materials and Technology Eindhoven and the Department of Applied Physics and Science Education. He specializes in quantum technologies, particularly atom interferometry and quantum sensing.
Research focuses on rotation rate measurements, interferometry, and geodesy applications. His work contributes to advancements in fiber optic gyroscopes and wave packet dynamics. He is a project member of the KAT-1 initiative exploring Rydberg atom quantum computing and simulation.
Teaching includes the course Introduction to Quantum Sensing (2023–2026). His dataset on atom interferometry experiments is publicly available via Figshare.
