Philippe Blanc-Benon

Philippe Blanc-Benon is a Lecturer at the Laboratory of Fluid Mechanics and Acoustics (LMFA - UMR 5509) at Ecole Centrale de Lyon, France. He is an active member of the Acoustics research team within this CNRS joint research unit.

His research focuses on critical areas of acoustic fluid dynamics:

• Aeroacoustics of rotating machines
• Dynamics and acoustics of compressible shear flows
• Propagation in inhomogeneous media and nonlinear effects

The Acoustics team operates within LMFA's extensive experimental infrastructure including anechoic wind tunnels, supersonic test facilities, and advanced measurement systems like PIV and Laser Doppler Velocimetry.
