Philippe Amiotte-Suchet

Philippe Amiotte-Suchet is an Assistant Professor in Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Burgundy. He holds an HDR (Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches) from the same institution (2009) and a PhD from Louis Pasteur University (Strasbourg, 1994). His research focuses on riverine carbon fluxes to oceans, biogeochemical cycles, climate impacts on water systems, and weathering processes. He has coordinated major projects like HYCCARE (GICC program) and led regional studies on dissolved organic matter dynamics in the Morvan region. His teaching includes hydrology, geochemical modeling (Vensim), and stable isotope analysis.
