Philipp Radler

Philipp Radler holds a PhD and is affiliated with the Faculty of Life Sciences, specifically within the Functional and Evolutionary Ecology department. His research focuses on bacterial cell division mechanisms and molecular biology, with particular emphasis on the cytoskeletal components in prokaryotic organisms.

Dr. Radler's research interests span across Cell Division, Immunology and Microbiology, Biochemistry, Genetics, and Molecular Biology. His work particularly examines bacterial cytoskeleton dynamics, focusing on proteins like FtsZ and FtsA in Escherichia coli, as well as studying Archaea through environmental genomics approaches.
