Prof. Dr. Philipp Maume is an Associate Professor (W3, tenured) at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) within the TUM School of Management, specializing in Corporate Governance and Capital Markets Law. He holds a Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD) from La Trobe University and has held academic positions at institutions in Germany, Australia, and the U.S. His research focuses on FinTech regulation, crypto assets, capital markets law, and family businesses. He serves as managing editor of the Journal of Banking and Capital Markets Law and co-founder of the Journal of Family Business Law.
