Philipp Krop

Philipp Krop is a Research Associate and PhD Student at the University of Würzburg, affiliated with the Psychology of Intelligent Interactive Systems group within the Faculty of Human Sciences. He holds an M.Sc. in Human-Computer Interaction and a B.Sc. in Human-Computer Systems, both from Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg. His research focuses on the social effects of virtual agents, embodied AI in work environments, and human-AI interaction design. Philipp has contributed to projects such as the AIL AT WORK initiative, exploring how visual design and framing of AI influence trust and perception. He also developed an XR application for embodied AI in workplaces, showcased at multiple German events. His work extends to usability improvements in healthcare IT systems, including speech recognition tools for radiology requests and remote prototype testing methodologies.
