Philipp Kampschroer

Philipp Kampschroer is an Assistant Professor at the School of Human Sciences (FCH) of Universidade Católica Portuguesa since 2024, where he teaches German language courses (German Language III, V, and VI). He holds a PhD in Literary Theory from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Lisbon. As a researcher affiliated with the Philology group at the University of Lisbon’s Centro de Linguística, his work focuses on Portuguese and German literature, translation studies, and textual criticism. His publications include Wilhelm Storck – Joaquim de Vasconcelos: Briefwechsel (2022) and an upcoming book on Eça de Queiroz’s literary evolution.

His teaching responsibilities include advanced German language modules for undergraduate students. His research explores intersections between literary theory, comparative literature, and textual analysis, with a particular emphasis on 19th-century Portuguese and German literary traditions.
