Philipp K. Masur is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Science at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Managing Director of the Digital Media and Behavior Lab. He holds a PhD in Social Sciences from the University of Hohenheim and has previously worked at the Universities of Mainz and Hohenheim. His research focuses on digital communication, social media impacts, privacy/self-disclosure dynamics, media literacies, and well-being, with a focus on behavioral contagion and open science practices.
