Professor Philip Swanson is the Hughes Professor of Spanish at the School of Languages, Arts and Societies at the University of Sheffield. His academic career spans teaching and research roles across Europe and the USA, with expertise in Latin American literature, Hispanic cinema, and cultural studies.
